Accounting Specialist (Mining Nickel + Shipping Operations)

Manage and record AP/AR for coal or nickel trading and maritime operations.

Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.

Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.

Analyze cost structures and transaction profitability.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations for mining and maritime trading.

Prepare tax reports and support internal/external audits.

Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.

Maritime / Shipping Cost Accounting

Track and allocate vessel-related expenses (fuel, port charges, repairs, crew costs).

Reconcile voyage costs against budgets and report variances.

Mining Trading Accounting

Monitor coal or nickel inventory, purchases, and sales.

Track operational costs, freight, royalties, and other trading expenses.

Ensure accuracy in pricing, billing, and shipment documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in maritime and/or mining.

Knowledge of taxation, customs duties, and industry financial regulations.

Proficient in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
