Finance Controller
to act as a
Country Manager Finance
—leading all finance-related activities for our overseas operations, driving financial performance, and ensuring strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead the finance function for Nabati Food's overseas entity, acting as the primary financial partner to the Country Manager and leadership team.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Align local financial operations with Nabati Group's global standards and reporting requirements.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the overseas market.
- Analyze business performance, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Present clear financial reports and insights to regional and head office leadership.
Accounting & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with both local regulations and Nabati Group policies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Cash Flow & Cost Management
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring liquidity for operational needs.
- Implement cost control measures and efficiency initiatives to maximize profitability.
- Support procurement and supply chain teams in managing financial aspects of contracts and vendor relationships.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing local finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in FMCG, manufacturing, or other fast-paced consumer industries.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead both strategic and hands-on operational finance.
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (additional local language a plus).
- Willingness to relocate and travel as needed.
