The Mission of This Role

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced
Financing Team Leader

to lead, mentor, and supercharge our team of Relationship Managers.

Your mission is to drive the
team's success

in expanding our SME financing portfolio. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing the team's pipeline, and fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring we meet ambitious growth targets while maintaining high portfolio quality.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage

a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) to proactively source and acquire new borrowers (SMEs) aligned with company targets.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies

for the financing team to achieve monthly.
- Set, monitor, and manage individual and team performance metrics, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Oversee the team's entire financing pipeline

, ensuring high-quality proposal submissions and assisting RMs in structuring complex financing solutions.
- Act as the primary escalation point and collaborator with the Credit Analyst and Risk teams to resolve complex cases and ensure a smooth/timely application process.
- Ensure the team effectively builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with the existing borrower portfolio to drive repeat business.
- Take full accountability for the team's portfolio quality

(e.g., NPF - Non-Performing Financing), working with RMs and Risk to implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and pipeline to management.

Qualifications We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (S1) minimum, preferably in Economics, Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of total work experience

as a Relationship Manager, Account Officer, or similar sales role within the SME/Commercial financing sector.
- Minimum of 2+ years in a proven leadership capacity

(Team Leader, Unit Head, or Senior RM with formal mentoring duties) is highly
preferred


- Deep experience in
Banking (SME/Commercial), or Fintech Lending (P2P)

is highly preferred.
- Possess a
strong and in-depth understanding

of credit analysis principles (financial statements, 5Cs) and financing risk management.
- A proven and extensive network among SME business owners and communities is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of Sharia financing products and contracts (e.g., Murabahah, Ijarah, Wakalah) is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal leadership skills.
- Strongly target-oriented with
proven strategic planning, coaching, and team management abilities.
- Ability to thrive and lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
