As a Lead Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning side of the project.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in oil and gas industry with a minimum ten (10) years' experience in the planning discipline with 5 years as a Lead Planner.

What You'll Do
We're looking for a Lead Planner to join our team.

The Role Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for the provision of all planning and scheduling services to support the Project, COMPANY internal requirements, and to support development of schedules for the EPC phase
  • Updating the integrated EPC Schedule on a monthly basis for reporting progress to COMPANY.
  • Preparation of an Integrated Overall Project Execution Schedule to enable identification of key activities, overall duration of the WORK, and critical work sequences to allow for timely and successful delivery of the WORK.
  • Performing schedule risk analysis as necessary.
  • Developing project interface schedules to report the status of interfaces between CONTRACTOR and COMPANY.
  • Developing and maintaining the overall project progress reporting system and coordinating reporting of progress to COMPANY.
  • Participate in regular risk reviews within CONTRACTOR'S organization.
  • Actively engaging in HSSE leadership, awareness and training programs.
  • Co-ordinating activities (working closely with other CONTRACTOR disciplines) to ensure overall alignment on project priorities and interests in order to avoid conflicts.
  • Making recommendations to Project Controls Manager in relation to any specialist input that may be required.

Qualifications
What you'll have

  • Possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent (in a relevant discipline)
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience in the planning discipline with 5 years as a Lead Planner
  • Technical professional with experience with knowledge of project controls functions in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Experience in planning and scheduling services for world-wide projects for a major engineering contractor.
  • Hands-on experience of using project control systems, procedures, and software (Primavera v6, PertMaster (Primavera Risk Analysis), etc.).
