About the RoleThe UI/UX Designer Intern at Knowledge Catalyst will play a key supporting role in our design team, gaining hands‑on experience in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. This is a paid internship program and an exciting opportunity to apply foundational design principles, assist with real‑world projects, and learn from experienced professionals, directly contributing to the usability and success of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop wireframes, user flows, and low‑fidelity prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Assist in creating and refining UI mockups and visual designs, ensuring they align with brand guidelines.
- Work with development and product teams to understand project requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Actively learn and apply principles of responsive design, web accessibility (WCAG), and support user research activities.
- A final‑year student or recent graduate in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and process, including academic or personal projects.
- Familiarity with industry‑standard design tools (e.g., Figma).
- Understand the importance of design tokens and design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Eager to learn, take initiative, and work in an Agile environment.
