Position Overview

The
Senior Accounting and Tax
professional is responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting processes and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and managing tax planning and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Review and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Taxation:

  • Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of monthly and annual tax reports (e.g., PPh, PPN, and other applicable taxes).
  • Ensure compliance with national tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation.
  • Handle tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize the company's tax position within legal boundaries.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants during audits, assessments, or inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Leadership & Coordination:

  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting and tax staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial and tax data flow.
  • Support management in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g.,
CPA, CA, Brevet A & B
) is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum
3-5 years
of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.

Experience in
financial reporting, tax planning, and audit coordination
is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of
    Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK)
    and relevant tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in
    tax reporting systems
    (e.g., e-Faktur, e-SPT, DJP Online).
  • Skilled in using
    accounting software
    (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and
    Microsoft Excel
    for financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and work effectively in a team environment.
