Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related majors
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in construction projects
- Mastery of building structures, finishing, & MEP
- Project management skills
- Able to calculate structures, create budgets (RAB), calculate material requirements & time schedules/S-curves
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and project specifications (AutoCAD & Excel)
- Able to prepare work schedule, manage the progress as well as reporting
- Able to supervise subcontractors and vendors
- Able to control project quality and costs (quality & cost control).
- Able to perform safety risk management
- Able to communicate in persuasive manner to workers, vendors as well as surrounding environment.
Job Description:
- Oversee all on-site activities and manage the construction process from start to finish.
- Develop and monitor detailed work schedules, allocate resources, and track progress against milestones.
- Organize and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, assigning tasks and providing guidance.
- Order and manage the delivery of necessary materials and equipment, ensuring quality standards are met and waste is minimized.
Prepare the site before construction begins by organizing temporary facilities and ensuring proper access and security.
Work with quantity surveyors and project managers to monitor project costs and ensure the work stays within budget.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specifications and building codes.
Address and resolve issues, delays, or conflicts that arise on-site to keep the project on track.
Enforce health and safety procedures and carry out regular site inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement site safety plans, emergency procedures, and safety training for all personnel.
Ensure the site complies with all relevant legal and statutory regulations.
Act as the main point of contact and liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and maintain important paperwork, including site reports, project documentation, drawings, and designs.
- Provide progress reports and updates to clients and senior management through meetings, phone calls, and presentations.
