About the role

A fast-growing, leading Asia beauty brand is hiring a General Manager to lead our Indonesia business end-to-end. You'll own the P&L, set the country strategy, and lead a high-performing team across sales, marketing, e-commerce, and offline retail to deliver sustainable growth.

What you'll do

  • Set & execute country strategy:
    Build multi-year plans to drive revenue, share and brand equity in Indonesia; translate global strategy into locally resonant execution.
  • Own the P&L:
    Plan, monitor and optimize budgets, pricing, trade spend and media ROI to hit growth and profitability targets.
  • Build winning routes-to-market:
  • E-commerce:
    Lead Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada and TikTok Shop growth (assortment, pricing, ops, media).
  • Offline:
    Expand Modern Trade, General Trade, drugstores and specialty beauty; oversee distributor/retailer management and field execution.
  • Marketing & creators:
    Orchestrate always-on + campaign bursts across digital, social, KOL/creator and offline; insist on performance rigor and marketing efficiency.
  • Product & consumer:
    Localize portfolio, shade ranges and hero SKUs; mine market trends and consumer insights to unlock new growth spaces.
  • Team leadership:
    Hire, coach and scale a high-performing sales, marketing and e-commerce team; instill data-driven, results-oriented culture.
  • Governance:
    Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations (e.g.,
    BPOM
    ), halal considerations and company standards; manage key suppliers and partners.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 10+ years in beauty/cosmetics or consumer goods
    , including
    3+ years in a senior leadership role
    (country lead/business unit head preferred).
  • Deep understanding of the
    Indonesian beauty market
    —channels, consumer behavior, pricing dynamics and competitive landscape.
  • Proven track record building brands and scaling revenue across
    e-commerce (Shopee/Tokopedia/Lazada/TikTok Shop)
    and
    offline (GT/MT/retail)
    .
  • Strong commercial acumen (P&L, forecasting, trade terms) and
    performance marketing
    literacy (media mix, KOL efficiency, CAC/ROAS).
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Languages:
    Fluent
