We're Hiring: Business Operations Manager / Kepala Cabang Surabaya
PT Jatim Raya, a leading distributor and retailer of electrical hardware in Indonesia, is looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager (Kepala Cabang Surabaya)
to lead our Surabaya branch operations.
This role is crucial as Surabaya is not only our HQ, but also the hub that serves East Indonesia customers. You will manage sales, warehouse fulfillment, retail stores, and local administration — working closely with our HQ teams (Accounting, HR, Tax, Imports, and E-commerce).
Jatim Raya Group (JWR) has branches in many cities including Surabaya, Jakarta, Samarinda, Balikpapan, Makassar, Denpasar, Bontang, and Banjarmasin, with 10+ outlets across Indonesia. JWR also distributes products it purchases to wholesalers and retailers throughout Indonesia.
What You'll Do
- Lead
Surabaya branch operations
: sales, warehouse (gudang ecer), 2 retail stores, and branch admin. - Grow revenue through
regional sales & B2B development
. - Oversee
warehouse ecer team
: preparing retail/small orders, supporting ecommerce shipments. - Supervise
Surabaya retail stores
for daily sales, stock, and promotions. - Manage
branch accounting/admin
: petty cash, expense booking, reporting. - Report directly to
Top Management
at HQ and coordinate with corporate functions.
What We're Looking For
- Min. 5 years experience in
operations, branch management, or sales leadership
. - Strong leadership & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across sales, warehouse, retail, and admin functions.
- Basic Conversational Mandarin
(or higher) – required. - Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and LLMs such as ChatGPT/Google Gemini/etc
. - Strong communication skills to handle customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Willing to travel regionally (East Java, East Indonesia).
