Maintain and ensure compliance with delegated financial authorities

Provide quality service to internal and external clients

Set up, maintain, report and issue invoices for projects.

Reconcile the bank account and receipt client payments against relevant projects Provide assistance to revenue recognition process for individual projects Provide assistance to Job Directors and Job Managers in their collection efforts of debts Collaborate effectively with counterparts in other Beca offices Participate professionally and enthusiastically within the Finance team and provide support on special projects as directed Inform clients proactively when unable to meet their expectations and reach agreement on a course of action Understands the broader team and manages expectations accordingly Escalate complex enquiries onto Manager for response Seek specific and constructive feedback to ensure professional and technical development Maintain positive working relationships even when the situation becomes difficult Work to achieve team goals through personal effort with regular attendance and effective contribution to team / project meetings Build rapport and communicate professionally with all team members and clients even when the situation becomes difficult Issues are proactively identified and managed and process improvements identified and addressed Maintain and reconcile the petty cash float (if required) Prepare manual cheques (if required) Manage the creditor process, ensuring compliance with the delegated financial authorities (if required) Understanding of spreadsheets, reconciliations and data analysis Strong administrative, numeracy and procedural skills Confidentiality and Professionalism Exceptional attention to detail Strong time management skills Understand and adhere to the Beca values
