IT & Systems Manager (Global Operations Focus)
Location: Indonesia ( Open for Remote Position )
Company: Italian Atelier & Luxury and Lifestyle Atelier
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Us
Italian Atelier is a dynamic luxury and lifestyle organization specializing in high-end design, working across global markets with a premium network of clients and partners. We operate with a small, results-driven team where communication, performance, and reliability are paramount to our success.
The Challenge & Why You Are Needed
We are seeking an exceptionally robust, highly motivated, and communicative IT & Systems Manager to take immediate ownership of our global digital infrastructure.
This is not a passive maintenance role. The successful candidate must be prepared to tackle and resolve critical systemic failures and immediately re-establish operational efficiency. We have recently experienced severe, costly delays and disruptions due to a fundamental breakdown in maintaining direct, reliable communication channels—both internally and with essential third-party vendors.
We require a team member who can not only manage hardware and software but, more importantly, manage the communication flow that ensures every system and vendor partnership operates with maximum transparency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities (Solving Our Critical Needs)
The primary mandate for this role is to establish stability, speed, and communication reliability across all IT functions:
- Critical Communication Protocol Establishment:
- Immediately define, document, and enforce clear, direct, and reliable communication channels for all IT-related queries, issue escalation, and ongoing external vendor management.
- Ensure zero tolerance for communication breakdowns that lead to operational paralysis or unresolved issues extending over days or weeks.
- Act as the primary, transparent, and responsive point of contact for internal teams (sales, operations, finance) and all external technology partners.
- System Reliability & Performance Oversight:
- Transition all IT functions from a reactive state to proactive, preventative maintenance, focusing on continuous high and rapid performance across all company systems (servers, cloud services, software licenses, and device health).
- Oversee the management and lifecycle of all company-owned hardware (MacBooks, Surface Laptops, and peripherals).
- Ensure robust data backup, recovery, and security protocols are strictly followed.
- Problem Resolution & Accountability:
- Take ownership of all current and historical IT issues, providing clear status updates and rapid resolution timelines.
- Implement an effective ticketing/tracking system to ensure no assigned task is delayed or falls out of completion (addressing the continued lack of task completion).
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in IT Management, System Administration, or a relevant technical leadership role.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully fixing and managing communication challenges between technical teams/vendors and business units.
- Expertise in cross-platform environments (Windows and macOS) and standard cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM systems).
- Strong knowledge of networking, data security, and disaster recovery planning.
- Non-negotiable requirement: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be highly self-disciplined, proactive, and capable of operating with minimal supervision while delivering maximum transparency.
Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience and proven capability.
- Opportunity to rebuild and define the technology framework for a high-growth luxury brand.
- Can work REMOTELY.
