Project Control – Construction Sector – Candidate Qualifications
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCP, or Primavera P6 certification) are an advantage.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project control or project scheduling within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with large-scale construction projects (infrastructure, commercial, or industrial).
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of cost control, budgeting, progress measurement, and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project control methodologies.
4. Analytical and Organizational Skills:
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in project tracking and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
5. Communication and Teamwork:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Able to present reports and project performance updates clearly to senior management.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
6. Other Requirements:
- Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project life cycle.
- Willingness to work on-site or travel to project locations if required.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus.
