About the role
As an Electricity Technician at PT. HLI Green Power, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our state-of-the-art green power facilities in Karawang, West Java. This is a full-time, on-site role that will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our renewable energy generation processes.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, motors, generators, and other equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner
- Install new electrical components and systems as required to support facility expansions and upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and reliability
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations and industry best practices
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Proven experience as an Electricity Technician or Electrical Maintenance Technician, preferably within the renewable energy or manufacturing sectors
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve electrical faults
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently
- Proactive approach to maintenance and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders
