Position Overview

The Presales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and solution design to prospective customers. As a key member of Faspay, the Presales Specialist bridges the gap between the technical capabilities of our solutions and the business needs of potential customers, ensuring a seamless and compelling client experience throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities


• Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand prospect requirements and tailor payment gateway solutions that address their technical, operational and business needs.


• Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of payment gateway services.


• Solution Design: Analyse prospect requirements and design customized payment integration solutions, including APIs, SDKs, and platform capabilities.


• Proof of Concept (PoC): Develop and lead PoC projects, guiding clients through trial implementations to validate solution fit and performance into prospect's environment.


• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a technical liaison between clients, internal teams (such as product, engineering, finance operation, IT operation and support), and third-party vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.


• Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging payment technologies to inform solution positioning and product enhancements.


• Sales Training and Enablement: Provide training and technical support to internal sales teams and external partners on payment gateway products and integration best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.


• 3+ years of experience in presales, sales engineering, or technical consulting, preferably within the fintech or payment gateway industry.


• Strong understanding of payment processing, e-commerce platforms, and digital transaction security.


• Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, web technologies, and payment integrations.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.


• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.


• Familiarity with payment networks, acquiring, and alternative payment methods.
