What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating and monitoring project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports
  • Identifying and proactively addressing potential project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Providing administrative support, such as preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items
  • Assisting with the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to project sites
  • Monitoring and reporting on project budget and expenditure, identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical challenges and provide support as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role within the civil/structural engineering industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and relevant industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Relevant degree in civil engineering, project management, or a related field
