What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and monitoring project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
- Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports
- Identifying and proactively addressing potential project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Providing administrative support, such as preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items
- Assisting with the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to project sites
- Monitoring and reporting on project budget and expenditure, identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical challenges and provide support as needed
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role within the civil/structural engineering industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and relevant industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Relevant degree in civil engineering, project management, or a related field
