English Academy is seeking dedicated and experienced full-time English Teachers in Tangerang (Kota Tangerang, Kabupaten Tangerang, and Tangerang Selatan) to join our team. The ideal candidates will excel in teaching English to students of various age groups and mentor freelance teachers to ensure their teaching methods meet English Academy’s high standards.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students from young learners to adults, with a maximum of 25 teaching hours per week.
- Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to students’ needs and proficiency levels.
- Utilize diverse teaching techniques and materials to facilitate learning and encourage participation.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular reports and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance.
- Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and assessments.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure smooth class operations and adherence to schedules.
- Manage classroom environment to ensure a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Mentor and support freelance teachers, guiding lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching techniques.
- Conduct regular observations of freelance teachers’ classes, providing feedback and actionable advice for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to English Academy’s teaching standards and policies by freelance teachers.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in ESL/EFL
- Proven mentoring and support skills for teachers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with teaching methodologies
