Back End Developer

Location: Sleman, Yogyakarta (Onsite)

As a Back End Developer at MadeIndonesia, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of our web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will work closely with our front end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to implement robust and scalable solutions. The task includes creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire Back End.
Job Description
- Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
- Evaluate software programs for performance issues, bugs, and design flaws.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
- Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
- Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
- Implement Back-end security best practices
Requirements
- At least 2 years of working experience as Back-End Developer
- Required Skills: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery
- Must be very familiar with developing a web application using PHP or its framework and cms like WordPress.
- A firm understanding of design concepts and knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, SASS, and Javascript (also Javascript for Back-End purposes and AJAX).
- Expert knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
- Knowledge of web services such as REST and other APIs.
- Familiarity with laravel / symfony is a plus
- Proficient of Git and GitHub.
- Familiar with tools like Slack, Project Management (Trello, Jira, TeamGant etc).
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on-site at our office located in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
