Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies and management systems to ensure smooth trial production, ramp-up, and daily operations of production lines, while formulating countermeasures for critical issues.
- Oversee and coordinate the overall process technology management for the electrode slurry mixing to slitting stages within the Cell production line.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain all standard process documentation and technical specifications.
- Lead process capability analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for the mixing to slitting processes.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for major abnormalities occurring in the mixing to slitting section.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering within lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing, with deep expertise in electrode (slurry mixing, coating, calendaring, slitting) processes.
- Proven experience in process development, documentation, and leading continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as DOE, SPC, and FMEA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively manage projects and drive improvements.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to battery manufacturing.
