Job Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct market research on Indonesia cosmetics products, analyzing trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences to identify brands/products suitable for KKV's growth stage.
  • Deliver regular market reports to support data-driven product selection.

2. Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation

  • Identify and onboard local Indonesia suppliers (e.g., OEM/ODM manufacturers, brands, distributors), with a focus on exclusive or co-branding opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and logistics to optimize procurement costs.

3.Supplier Relationship Management

  • Establish a supplier evaluation system (quality, delivery, compliance) and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Drive collaborative innovation (e.g., customized packaging, product designs aligned with KKV's brand identity).

4.Product Portfolio & Pricing Strategy

  • Develop differentiated product assortments and pricing models (e.g., hero SKUs, high-margin bundles) based on channel positioning (e.g., KKV's in-store visual merchandising needs).
  • Monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness.

5.Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with China-based legal, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth contract execution, local purchasing, and product listing.

6.Sales Tracking & Performance Review

  • Track sales KPIs (e.g., sell-through rate, GMV, return rate) and conduct regular reviews to optimize product selection (replenishment or discontinuation).
  • Drive product improvements (e.g., formula upgrades, packaging enhancements) based on market feedback.

Qualifications

1. Mandatory Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in 
    Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Marketing, or Chemistry/Cosmetics Science
    .
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Indonesian and English
    . Chinese is a plus (for smoother communication with China headquarters).
  • Experience:
    2+ years in 
    cosmetics procurement
    , with deep knowledge of Indonesia local supply chain;Experience in 
    cross-border procurement (China-
     
    Indonesia) o

    co-branded product development
     is preferred.

2. Core Competencies-Industry Knowledge

  • Familiarity with cosmetics/daily-use product specifics (e.g., ingredient compliance, shelf-life management, seasonal demand).
  • Understanding of Indonesia regulations (e.g., FDA cosmetic registration, import labeling requirements).

3. Technical Skills

  • Strong cost analysis (e.g., BOM breakdown, logistics cost optimization) and data tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Expertise in negotiation tactics (e.g., BATNA) and contract risk management.

4. Soft Skills

  • Coss-cultural sensitivity: Adapt to China- Indonesia business practice differences;
  • Resilience: Handle peak-season inventory surges or supply chain disruptions.
