Based in Jakarta,
Field Operations Officer
is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end operations of isotank logistics, covering both export and local distribution. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams, third-party vendors, and terminal operators to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of tyre pyrolysis oil (TPO). Key responsibilities include logistics scheduling, field supervision, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, documentation, and operational reporting.

: Isotank traffic is well-scheduled and aligned with delivery timelines, with minimal delays or bottlenecks. - Safety & Compliance
: All operations strictly follow HSSE and IMDG regulations, with certified isotanks, proper placarding, and well-informed transporters. - Accurate Documentation
: Timely and precise preparation of permits, DOs, weighbridge tickets, and incident reports. - Proactive Supervision
: Field operations are closely monitored, with standard procedures followed during loading/unloading and inspections. - Effective Communication
: Smooth coordination between field teams, HQ, and external partners (e.g., trucking, terminals, surveyors). - Problem Solving
: Incidents are promptly reported and resolved, with preventative actions implemented to avoid recurrence.

It ensures that product movement meets customer expectations, regulatory demands, and internal performance standards. By ensuring seamless coordination and compliance, the role supports the company's overall logistics integrity, brand reputation, and operational safety in handling hazardous goods.
Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
Tasks related to planning, scheduling, and coordination of transport and resources.
- Schedule and manage export isotank and local distribution traffic; coordinate with trucking, forwarders, depots, and tank terminals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third parties; act as a liaison between field and HQ management.
- Manage team overtime schedules and submit overtime requests to the tank terminal.
Operations Supervision
Tasks focused on overseeing field operations and ensuring correct execution.
- Supervise loading/unloading of oil at terminals/ports; ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.
- Instruct team to perform visual inspections (seals, valves, leaks), verify documents, and collect surveyor samples.
Documentation & Reporting
Tasks dealing with document handling, record keeping, and reporting.
- Prepare field activity and inspection reports; manage transportation documents (DOs, weigh bridge tickets).
- Issue permits and other operational documents at tank terminals.
- Prepare incident reports for accidents, isotank damage, or non-compliance.
Compliance & Safety
Tasks ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.
- Ensure isotank numbers match depot, surveyor, and terminal seals.
- Prepare placards and other materials as per hazardous goods transport regulations.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE regulations, isotank certification, and communicate safety standards to transporters and trucking teams.
Qualifications
- Coachable person with integrity, energy and intelligence.
- 2-3 years experience in field operations, logistics, distributions or related fields is preferred; but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Good people coordination and interpersonal skills. Adaptable and nimble across different workplace settings.
