Role
Technical Sales responsible to drive overall sales across ITW Welding brands (Miller, Hobart and Bernard) within Indonesia focusing specific industry segments. This role will lead the account planning process in the territory, serving the needs of our customers as part of a high functioning team, inclusive of our channel partners.
Main Role Functions
· To understand welding related needs of customers, identify challenges, pain points, evaluate and advocate relevant solutions from ITW Welding portfolio.
· To maintain relationship with key existing customers and develop business relationship with prospective end customers.
· To develop / implement comprehensive action plans to aggressively grow business within existing and / or prospective customers.
· To make economic justification, presentation on total cost and productivity improvement to mid & senior management.
· Manage, organize and / or conduct product trials & demonstrations, support process conversion / implementation with assistance from technical team.
· Manage relationship with local distributors and collaborate on strategies that drive growth for the business and our distributors.
· Effectively manages assigned territory / key accounts and prioritizes through an 80/20 mindset of key accounts and activities; effectively leverages on internal and external resources.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of relevant welding industry experience in technical sales or welding engineering (candidates having experience in industrial heating systems or as Welding Engineer or related to welding process improvement are welcome)
· Growth mindset and results oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to communicate with ease and build relationships at all levels (key decision makers, users) of the end user and distributor.
· A proven track record of organizational, planning and persuasion skills in addition to verbal and written communication.
· Strong PC skills / aptitude. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office programs (Words, Excel and PowerPoint).
· Willing to travel.
