Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., PSAK/IFRS).
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure timely closing of accounting periods and coordinate with relevant departments to meet reporting deadlines.
- Calculate, review, and reconcile tax liabilities and payments.
- Provide advice on tax implications of business transactions to ensure compliance and optimize tax efficiency.
- Liaise with tax authorities during audits, inquiries, or disputes.
- Prepare and provide necessary documentation for audit processes.
- Prepare and report SIUL and KPPK report.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting and tax staff in daily operations.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and management teams to ensure alignment in financial and tax matters.
- Ensure timely tax filings and other compliance with local and regional regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CA, or Brevet A & B in Indonesia is an advantage).
- 3–7 years of progressive experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proven track record in preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax calculations, and tax returns.
- Experience with financial audit, tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, and liaising with tax authorities.
- Experience with reporting to Bank Indonesia (SIUL, KPPK).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and tax regulations (PPh, PPN, PPh 21/23/25/26,4(2) etc.).
- Able to do e-SPT/e-Faktur/Coretax.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of general ledger, month‑end closing, balance sheet reconciliation, tax equalization and accrual processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and ability to interpret new regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable team player with accountability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal and written).
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
