Job Title: Solution Architect – Data Center

Role Overview :
We are seeking a Solution Architect – Data Center to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies with strong business acumen to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures for our clients or internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of data center infrastructure solutions (compute, storage, networking, security, virtualization).
Translate business and technical requirements into solution blueprints and high-level designs (HLD/LLD).
Evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance system performance, availability, and resilience.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between architecture, operations, and security.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM), solution proposals, and technical documentation for internal review or client delivery.
Support pre-sales engagements and participate in RFP/RFQ responses.
Develop and maintain best practices for data center operations, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
Integrate hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with on-premises infrastructure.
Mentor engineering teams and provide guidance on solution implementation and optimization.
Required Skills & Expertise
Data Center Architecture: Power, cooling, rack design, redundancy, and resiliency planning.
Virtualization: VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V, or KVM.
Storage: SAN/NAS design, replication, and backup (Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage).
Networking: VLAN, routing, switching, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
Cloud Integration: Hybrid cloud deployment with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Security: Zero-trust architecture, access control, and data encryption.
Automation: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python).
Documentation: Strong ability to prepare architecture diagrams, proposals, and RFP responses.

VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Data Center or Enterprise
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP / CDCS / CDCE)
TOGAF or ITIL Foundation
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certification
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8–15 years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering.
3–5 years of experience in a solution architecture or design leadership role.
Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale data center or hybrid cloud solutions.
