Job Description
  • Planning and implementing OHS policies and procedures in company, especially in factory area.
  • Conduct hazard identification for every job activity.
  • Giving direction to employees and company visitors about standard operational procedure and OHS.
  • Analyze and monitor health and safety activity in factory area.
  • Coordinate with EHS team to handle work accident and/or another emergency.
  • Provide support to the dept on the implementation of company-wide OHS initiatives such as ISO 45001, SMK3, and EHS Performance Standard.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance.
  • Conduct OHS trainings and orientations for all new employees.
  • Ensure all worksites are OHS compliant with company policies and safety standards.
  • Ensure the compilation of aspects for operational controls relate to the hazards of OHS risks in the work of the department.
  • Supervise engagement program for all employees so involving OHS implementation in work area goes well.
  • Supervise operational activity that is related to compliance regulation or applicable standard.
  • Supervise implementation control and procedure evaluation towards work area condition.
  • Conduct inspection of operational activity and emergency equipment based on the regulation.
  • Conduct trend analysis for environmental monitoring and evaluate data compatibility with standard or regulation.
  • Develop MCU matrix and collaborate with HR department for conducting annual MCU.
  • Evaluate MCU results and collaborate with HR for following up on non-conformity results with regulation or standard.
  • Implement a Contractor Safety Management System and ensure all contractors are required to comply with applicable standards.
  • Supervise contractor activity and evaluate compatibility with CSMS document.
  • Develop emergency drill plan and conduct the emergency drill based on the standard and regulation.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present safety reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
  • Manage the budget for the OHS department.
Requirements
  • Diploma (D3) or bachelor's degree (S1) in a relevant field such as:

  • Occupational Health and Safety

  • Environmental Engineering
  • Public Health
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • or other technical/science-related disciplines
  • 1-3 years of experience in sustainability, environment, energy, or related field.
  • Experience on managing OHS policies and procedure.
  • Proficient in English (written and communication)
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with diverse teams in a collaborative group setting.
  • Excellent people management skills - strong ability to develop and manage diverse relationships, influence and build credibility among a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on the sustainability initiatives.
  • Has OHS competencies (e.g. Certified OSH training, OHS Management System, OHS and Environmental Regulations, Standard & Policy, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Emergency Preparedness & Response, Incident and Accident Investigation & Mitigation, Safety and Training Education, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, Adaptability and Flexibility, Continuous Learning, Strategic Thinking, Technical Proficiency).
