About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Officer to join our team at PT Indonesia Defence Services in South Tangerang Banten. As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations. This full-time position is crucial in supporting the overall logistics and distribution activities of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records are maintained
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to ensure timely distribution of goods
- Implement and maintain efficient storage and retrieval systems
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure they follow standard operating procedures
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to optimise warehouse operations
- Ensure the warehouse facility and equipment are well-maintained and compliant with health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or distribution industry
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
- A team player with the ability to lead and motivate a team
