Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain technical and functional documentation, including white papers, user guides, process documents, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Translate complex data management and governance concepts into easy-to-understand content for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with consultants, data engineers, and business analysts to gather information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Create visual aids (diagrams, flowcharts, infographics) to enhance understanding of technical processes.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with industry standards, compliance requirements, and company guidelines.
Maintain and update documentation as data regulations, tools, and frameworks evolve. - Work with marketing teams to create thought leadership content such as blogs, case studies, and white papers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in data management, data governance, or IT consulting.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM), metadata management, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and related topics.
- Ability to write for both technical and business audiences.
- Experience using documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word, Markdown, Git and others).
- Basic knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills.
