Our Brand is a growing dailywear brand conceived, designed and produced in Indonesia for the domestic market. We are looking for a driven and resourceful Retail Account Executive to expand our presence in new retail markets. This role is crucial for our wholesale growth and requires a professional with a passion for building relationships and a proven track record of securing new retail partnerships.

The Role
This is a hunter role, focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new wholesale accounts with independent boutiques, department stores, and specialty retailers. The ideal candidate will use a proactive and strategic approach to get our brand in front of new buyers and secure placement in high-end, independent, and national retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Generate new wholesale business by identifying and targeting prospective retail partners within your assigned territory.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail buyers and store owners.
  • Product Presentation: Present our new seasonal collections to potential and existing clients, both virtually and in-person at trade shows or in showrooms.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery agreements with retailers to maximize profitability.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Represent the brand at major trade shows and industry events to showcase collections and network with buyers.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, new account acquisition, and market feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience of 3-5 years in wholesale apparel sales, with a demonstrated ability to "open doors" and build a new account base.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the apparel market, retail landscape, and buyer psychology.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively pitch collections and build rapport with clients.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a history of closing complex deals.
  • Self-Motivated: A tenacious and self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently to achieve ambitious sales goals.
  • Travel: Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and to industry trade shows.
