Requirements :

·       Minimum 8–10 years of experience in process engineering within the manufacturing industry, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial or lead engineering role.

·       Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly desirable and often required.

· Advanced expertise in: Process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD), P&ID development, hydraulic calculations, and process safety analysis

·       Strong strategic leadership, analitycal thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and technical staff.

·       Proven experience in budgeting, risk management, and leading large-scale projects

·       Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to collaborate with production, QA/QC, maintenance, and senior leadership.

Responsibility

  • Lead the entire process engineering department, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in all engineering activities.
  • Responsible for the planning, coordination, and optimization of technical resources, budgets, and technologies related to process engineering.
  • Supervise and support supervisors and senior engineers, including setting departmental goals, reviewing performance, and developing career paths.
  • Review and approve all major engineering deliverables to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Act as the top technical authority for complex engineering decisions, advanced troubleshooting, and risk mitigation across multiple projects or plants.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to define the process engineering scope, budget allocations, and project timelines for new initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement programs to enhance process efficiency, reduce operational costs, improve product yield, and increase plant reliability.
  • Provide strategic reports and technical recommendations to upper management regarding performance metrics, investment opportunities, and future engineering capabilities.
