We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Engineering Technician to join our dedicated building maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our building's facilities and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This role is critical in maintaining our property to the highest standard, supporting all operational departments, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute the daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all building equipment, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Respond promptly to all maintenance requests and work orders. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in building systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and plumbing.
  • MEP Systems: Operate, monitor, and maintain essential building systems, including generators, pumps, water treatment plants, boilers, and electrical switchboards.
  • HVAC Systems: Perform regular checks and basic maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, including AHUs (Air Handling Units) and FCUs (Fan Coil Units), to ensure optimal air quality and temperature.
  • Civil Works: Execute general building repairs and maintenance tasks, which may include painting, tiling, basic carpentry, and masonry work as required.
  • Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of public areas, back-of-house, and plant rooms to identify potential issues, safety hazards, or areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance work performed, meter readings, and equipment status. Report any major issues or equipment failures to the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, company policies, and local government regulations in all tasks performed.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of a Vocational High School (SMK) graduate or Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: A minimum of [Insert number, e.g., 2-3] years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality (hotel), high-rise commercial building, or hospital industry.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical proficiency in maintaining MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.

  • A solid understanding of HVAC systems is highly advantageous.
  • Competency in general civil maintenance and repair tasks.
