Overview
Japanese Speaking Data Center Engineer (anywhere in SEA) role at Jacobs. This role can be based in any Jacobs offices across South East Asia region.
We are hiring a Japanese Speaking Data Center Engineer . This role may require coordination with Japanese internal/external stakeholders and involves mechanical services detailed design for data center projects.
Responsibilities- Technical reports and specifications including functional descriptions for Mechanical systems.
- To lead and attend project/site meetings with Client, PM, and Consultants from other disciplines.
- Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines.
- Relationship building with clients generally involves a Doer/Seller role.
- Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required
- Support proposals and bids when needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Japanese Language Proficiency (minimum N2) given that he/she will need to coordinate with Japanese internal/external stakeholders.
- Relevant experience to perform engineering tasks on the mechanical services detailed design (including calculations, computer simulations, specifications, etc), particularly in Data Center projects
- Ability to work independently and confidently while managing multiple stakeholders
