ML Engineer Mentor
Location: Surabaya
Role Focus:
Design and lead high-impact learning activities while mentoring participants throughout their applied AIML learning journey, bridging academic exploration with real-world Apple technology integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design engaging and challenge-based learning activities aligned with the Apple Machine Learning curriculum.
- Serve as academic and technical mentors for participants, providing guidance in learning direction, project execution, and Apple ML technology implementation.
- Lead and supervise applied machine learning projects across interdisciplinary themes (business, healthcare, creative industries, psychology, etc.) using Apple platforms (iOS, watchOS, macOS).
- Collaborate closely with Apple AIML expert and ensure excellence across all domains.
- Oversee the development of proof-of-concept (PoC) systems using Core ML, Create ML, and related Apple technologies.
- Open to contribute to research in collaboration with UC faculties in industry-linked projects, ensuring technical relevance, and impact to industry.
- Support the possibility of generation of patents as potential outcomes of successful projects.
Requirements:
- At least Master's degree or equivalent in proven experience and expertise in Machine Learning, AI, or related Computer Science fields.
- 5–10 years of working experience in relevant fields.
- Demonstrated success in both industrial and AIML implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with industry-standard ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Familiarity with Apple's ML frameworks (Core ML, Create ML, etc.).
