Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of progressive experience in Research & Development within the Food & Beverage Industry, with a proven track record in coffee products.
- Essential Experience: Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in the formulation of instant coffee / coffee mixes and the process of coffee roasting/blending
- Familiarity with various roasting profiles and their impact on flavor.
- Strong sensory evaluation skill for coffee (e.g., Q-Grader/R-Grader certification is a plus).
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills in English and Bahasa
- Proficiency in utilizing R&D laboratory equipment and software
Job Descriptions:
- Product Development & Innovation: Lead and execute R&D projects for new coffee products, including formulation, process development, and sensory evaluation for coffee mixes and roasted beans.
- Process Optimization: Continuously seek to improve current manufacturing processes, product quality, shelf life and cost-efficiency for both products categories.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor R&D Technicians, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Ingredients Sourcing and Testing: Evaluate and approve new raw materials (Coffee beans, flavorings, creamers, sugars, etc.) in collaboration with Purchasing and Quality Assurance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all new and existing products comply with local and international food safety and labelling regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all formulas, procedures, and sensory panel results.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated on coffee industry trends, competitive products and consumer preferences to drive relevant innovation
