About the Role
As the key Procurement Officer (Medical Devices) function at Allvacon, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end purchasing cycle—from negotiating with medical suppliers to securing timely deliveries that keep our clinical operations running smoothly. This role demands strong ownership, vendor management skills, and independence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full procurement cycle (PR–PO–delivery–invoice)
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with medical suppliers
- Maintain vendor relationships and track performance
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, audit, and healthcare standards
- Collaborate with Finance & Inventory for seamless operations
- Communicate with logistics or shipping partners to arrange incoming deliveries and ensure on-time arrival
- Track and monitor the entire purchasing process — from request submission to goods receipt
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, in medical devices, hospital supply, or surgical tools is a plus.
- Experience in export/import processes is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with ERP or SAP systems.
- Strong communication and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Agile, multitasking, and comfortable working across multiple departments.
- Able to meet deadlines and uphold integrity in all procurement processes.
- Fluent in English (Mandarin is a strong plus)
