About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester with 5+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough manual testing, defect identification, and close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Execute different types of testing: Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely bug resolution and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Participate in test review meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Maintain test documentation and prepare detailed test reports.
  • Understand and apply SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle concepts effectively.
  • Collaborate with automation teams to identify areas for automation improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and defect management.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (like TestRail, Zephyr, or QTest).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Good to Have:

  • Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger).
  • Exposure to SQL for backend data validation.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (like Selenium) is a plus.
  • ISTQB or similar certification.
