Job Description:

  • To ensure social compliance meet with mandatory national regulations and relevant international standards if required
  • To maintain social management system documents (if necessary, to develop new documents both in corporate and subsidiary level)
  • To map affected communities, stakeholders and potential conflict hotspots as well as conduct conflict resolution
  • To monitor the realization of social commitments within AMDAL/UKL-UPL requirements (National-EIA) and ESIA (ADB-IFC-WB-Lenders) requirements in an integrated manner
  • To monitor and supervise the implementation of specific Social Management Plans, including Construction Environmental and Social Management Plans, Community Health Safety Security Plans, Livelihood Restoration Plan, Indigenous People Plan (IPP), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) etc
  • To communicate with other parts of Project organization such as HSE Team, CSR & External Relations Team, Corporate Communication Team, Permitting Team and HR-GS Team
  • To assist Corporate Social and Security Manager to liaise with Lender's consultant on social compliance
  • To assist Corporate Social and Security Manager in communicating with national/provincial/local authorities (including Military and Police) and local communities as appropriate
  • To assist Corporate Social and Security Manager in ESDD (environmental and social due diligence) if required
  • To assist Corporate Social and Security Manager in Sustainability Report (SR) Program with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainalytics and MSCI versions such as relevant with security audit both internal and external (SRGRI#410 Security Practices and SRGRI#413 Local Communities)
  • To assist Corporate Social and Security Manager to develop and implement of social policies, procedures, and work instructions. In addition, prepare and execute budget and program
  • To assist Subsidiary if requested to conduct stakeholder mapping and each key person (s), review and analyze stakeholder concerns, issues and driven, related to site project and operation in non-technical aspect, and identify stakeholders response, social and environment impact including risks analysis and management, provide recommendations and expertise on applied treatment according to each scenario of stakeholders' response; in order to ensure proper engagement treatment for each group of stakeholders (Stakeholder Engagement Plan/SEP)

Job Qualification:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in All Major, preferably have a military/police background
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience handling social and community relations (including in security is advantage)
  • Able to engage with relevant stakeholders at every level and locally affected communities
  • Well knowledge and able to conduct social investigation and risk and impact assessment and mitigation
  • Understand ESIA, AMDAL and UKL-UPL
  • Know national social regulations well
  • Understand multi stakeholder engagement and able to handle community grievance redress mechanism
  • Know Environmental, Social dan Governance (ESG) well
  • Fluent in English both speaking and writing
  • Computer ability
