Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Daily tasks include managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, experimenting with new recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen. The Pastry Chef will collaborate with the team to achieve a consistent and innovative menu that reflects the creativity and passion Kaybee's is known for.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, including preparing various doughs, pastries, and desserts
- Strong Food Preparation and Cooking skills with attention to detail and presentation
- Comprehensive knowledge of Culinary Skills, including understanding flavors, ingredients, and food trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adhere to food safety standards
- Experience in a professional kitchen or bakery is preferred
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
