ESA Sampoerna Group is seeking for a young talented professional to supervise new factories establishment projects and to manage production plan on their earlier phase as PPIC & Project Supervisor. This Surabaya based position has following responsibilities:

Project Administration & Organization

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, and work hours to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information to support project team members.
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders regarding project status and logistics.
  • Manage project documentation, including filing, updating, and distribution of all relevant project materials (e.g., contracts, blueprints, technical specifications).
  • Assist in resource allocation by tracking the utilization of team members and escalating potential resource conflicts to the Business Process Manager.

Communication & Reporting

  • Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to the Business Process Manager and stakeholders, highlighting progress, upcoming milestones, and potential risks or issues.
  • Ensure clear communication channels are maintained among all project team members and departments.
  • Facilitate the smooth flow of information between the Business Process Manager and the execution teams.

Production Planning

  • Develop and finalize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Evaluate production capacity against the plan and collaborate with Production Management to resolve bottlenecks or capacity constraints.
  • Create detailed production orders and work orders and ensure timely release to the manufacturing floor.
  • Monitor daily production progress against the schedule, investigate deviations, and adjust plans as necessary to meet committed delivery dates.

Inventory Control & Material Management

  • Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure all necessary raw materials, components, and packaging are available when needed.
  • Set and maintain optimal inventory levels for both raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG), including safety stock and reorder points.
  • Monitor inventory movement and accuracy in the warehouse and on the production floor, investigating discrepancies and performing cycle counts or stock takes.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement/Purchasing team on material delivery schedules and vendor performance to ensure a stable supply chain.
  • Manage and minimize Slow-Moving and Obsolete inventory to reduce waste and financial loss.

Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise, mentor, and train the PPIC team staff (Planners, Inventory Controllers) to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Act as the primary communication link between Sales/Marketing, Production, Warehouse/Logistics, and Procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering is preferred.
  • Willing to be placed in Head Office - Surabaya, and willing to travel to all project sites across Indonesia.
  • Having experience as both Project Coordinator and PPIC is more preferred.
