Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Support merchandisers in finding quality vendors, maintain good relationships with vendors, and encourage suppliers to maintain quality, quantity, and timeliness.
- Production Control: Ensure that the production process at vendors meets expectations and assess production capacity to meet stock requirements.
- Planning: Create and manage production timelines; ensure that the quantity of finished products is in line with the plan.
- Quality & Quantity Assurance: Ensuring product quality meets standards and managing defective products.
- Warehouse & Inventory: Ensuring warehouse SOPs are followed, maintaining safe stock levels, and resolving production & warehouse issues.
- Logistics: Ensuring the product distribution process runs smoothly.
- Reporting: Providing regular production and inventory reports to the Owner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Garment Production, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PPIC/Production Management in the garment industry (preferably baby carriers).
- Proven experience in supporting vendor sourcing and managing garment production.
- Strong knowledge of quality control, inventory management, and logistics.
- Able to analyze production requirements, estimate capacity, and control stock.
- Proficient in costing, negotiation, and production vendor management.
- Accustomed to creating and controlling production timelines through to delivery.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally (vendors/suppliers).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Problem solver, quick learner, and able to adapt well.
- Agile, analytical, innovative, and able to make quick and accurate decisions in dynamic production situations.
