Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and market-facing
Personal Accident (PA) and Travel Underwriter
to join our Retail Underwriting team. This role will be the
main driver
in developing and expanding our
Group Personal Accident and Travel Insurance portfolio
, with a strong focus on market engagement, product innovation, and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead underwriter for Group PA and Travel Insurance products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with
brokers, agents, and corporate clients. - Drive product development initiatives and tailor solutions to meet market needs.
- Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with actuarial, claims, and reinsurance teams to ensure product sustainability.
- Provide training and support to distribution channels on PA and Travel products.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting Personal Accident and/or Travel Insurance.
- Proven track record in market-facing roles and portfolio development.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, or related field (preferred).
