About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant Manager to join our team at PT Daya Kobelco Construction Machinery Indonesia. As the Legal Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support and advice to our organisation. Based in Cibitung District, Bekasi, West Java, this full-time position will allow you to contribute to the strategic objectives of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Drafting and amending the Articles of Association, including changes in shareholders and company management.
- Ensuring General Meetings of Shareholders (GMS) documents comply with legal requirements.
- Handling final review for Legal Risks & Business Risks
- Applying for new operational permits and renewing expired ones.
- Coordinating with government agencies for permit issuance.
- Drafting contracts (e.g., lease agreements, sales agreements, cooperation agreements).
- Reviewing and revising contracts submitted by external parties.
- Ensuring ownership documents for land and buildings comply with regulations.
- Preparing necessary documents for notarial lease agreements.
- Ensuring litigation cases are effectively resolved.
- Coordinating with external legal counsel for dispute resolution.
- Preparing legal documents for court proceedings.
- Managing and developing Legal team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal (must have experience in Supervisor Level)
- Candidate must have been certified by PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- English proficiency, negotiation skills and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing and able to perform duties outside the company premises.
