Job Purpose

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of store operations to achieve sales, service, and operational excellence. This role manages the store team, ensures outstanding customer experience, optimizes resources, and drives business performance in line with company standards.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Performance

  • Deliver and exceed store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Implement promotional and marketing activities at store level.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality shopping experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain store appearance, product displays, and merchandising standards.

Store Operations

  • Manage daily operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Optimize inventory levels to reduce shrinkage and ensure availability.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff.
  • Schedule, monitor, and manage team performance.
  • Motivate and lead the team to achieve excellence in service and results.

Reporting & Administration

  • Track and report store performance metrics.
  • Monitor expenses and control operational costs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Adminstration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role in retail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet targets.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and retail management systems (POS, inventory software).
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
