Senior Engineer, Check Planner

*Role Purpose*
The Aircraft Check Planner is responsible for the detailed coordination and execution of aircraft maintenance checks in accordance with AMP, regulatory requirements, OEM recommendations, and company standards. This role acts as the primary liaison between Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, and external MROs to ensure checks are completed safely, efficiently, and within schedule.
*Key Accountability*
- Conduct in-depth reviews of maintenance work packages developed by the Aircraft Advance Planner to ensure operational feasibility, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider's technical capabilities
- Lead proactive coordination with MRO partners to identify and resolve technical or logistical discrepancies before check execution, safeguarding schedule integrity and minimizing operational risk.
- Oversee the execution of maintenance checks to ensure strict adherence to allocated timelines. Anticipate and mitigate potential delays through strategic engagement with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate among Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to guarantee the timely availability of task cards, tooling, materials, and manpower, enabling uninterrupted maintenance flow.
- Serve as the primary representative of the operator during aircraft maintenance events at MRO facilities or base maintenance locations, ensuring operator interests are upheld and standards are met.
- Monitor maintenance progress in real-time, swiftly addressing emerging issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize aircraft downtime and operational disruption.
- Review and track Non-Routine Task Cards, ensuring timely and appropriate engineering support is mobilized to resolve unexpected findings efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly comply with airworthiness regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards, maintaining the highest level of operational integrity.
- Provide daily status updates to stakeholders and compile comprehensive post-check reports detailing findings, corrective actions, and lessons learned to inform future planning.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance planning, execution efficiency, and overall operational excellence
*Qualification & Working Experience*
- Possess at least a Degree in an Engineering Field.
- Attended relevant Part M subparts G requirement course.
- Minimum 12 months in CAMO related work area.
