Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and recruit suitable KOLs and pet influencers for campaigns, events and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and execute KOL strategies tailored to the pet industry, aligning with overall brand goals and seasonal marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts, deliverables and compensation terms with KOLs to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Social Media, Creative, Digital Marketing) to ensure campaign consistency and alignment.
  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing KOLs, while continuously sourcing new talent relevant to pet owners and pet-related communities.
  • Track, analyze and report on influencer performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and provide insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Stay up to date with emerging influencer trends, platform algorithm changes and industry best practices, especially within the pet and lifestyle niche.
  • Provide KOLs with creative direction, messaging guidelines and brand materials to ensure effective content delivery and brand alignment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2 years) as a KOL Specialist or similar role within the digital marketing space, preferably in lifestyle, FMCG or pet-related industries.
  • Strong understanding of key social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and influencer marketing tools.
  • Deep passion and understanding of the pet community, trends and consumer behaviors.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, with a network of established influencer contacts as a plus.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
