Job Description Summary:
Lead and support the implementation of a harmonious industrial relations in Downstream Indonesia and SCP by ensuring compliance to regulation and company policy, manage labor dispute, and establish good relationship with internal and external stakeholders in relation to industrial relations.
Job Descriptions:
- Lead the review of current practices, policies, and procedures in the area of industrial relations and ensure they are in line with regulations
- Develop Industrial Relations Strategy for Downstream Indonesia and SCP, and periodically update the strategy
- Anticipate and lead the resolution of industrial relations issues and/or dispute
- Build and maintain good working relations with employees, HR practitioners (HRBP, Corporate IR), and external parties such as government bodies, association, labor union, and other stakeholders.
- Follow up on reports related to breach of company policy in the area of labor regulations and industrial relations
- Ensure the implementation of all industrial related programs in the company
- Ensure all related Collective Labor Agreement and other documents related to industrial relations practices (i.e. PP) are available and up-to-date.
Job Requirements:
- Min Bachelor Degree in Law, from reputable University.
- Have 8 years experience in related field (Industrial Relation & Employee Relation) with min 2 years in managerial level. -
- Proven experience in dealing with labor unions, collective bargaining, and maintaining constructive industrial relations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, manpower regulations, and industrial relations practices in Indonesia.
- Demonstrated ability to manage grievances, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Having capability to build networking and engagement with all IR Stakeholders (internal & external)
- High integrity, resilience, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
