The executive will play a key role in expanding our business by market research products and acting as a bridge between with customers and our team. The candidate will be responsible for client acquisition, relationship management, business development and participating in delivery of insights.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The BDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospects, and helping fill the sales pipeline for our Sales director or Client Partner. This is a front-line role that requires strong communication, persistence, and a passion for driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Identify and research potential clients through online tools, databases, LinkedIn, events, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a list of high-potential accounts.
  • Outreach & Engagement
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to engage prospects.
  • Respond to inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns.
  • Nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Lead Qualification
  • Assess prospects using qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.).
  • Understand client pain points, business needs, and fit for our solutions.
  • Pipeline Development
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and pipeline status in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.).
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of outbound activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches).
  • Meetings/demos booked with qualified prospects.
  • Opportunities added to pipeline.
  • Conversion rate from prospect to qualified opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing role (internships accepted for entry-level).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilient, persistent, and comfortable with high-volume outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
