Job Overview:

Pebble & Fins is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT & Finance Support Officer to join our growing team. This unique hybrid role blends finance responsibilities with opportunities in IT automation. You'll handle day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks while also contributing to digital process improvements that support the resort's operations.

This position is open to both IT graduates and accounting/finance graduates with at least 1 year of experience. Training will be provided depending on your background — but we value curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Bookkeeping

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR, expenses, petty cash, reconciliations)
  • Support monthly payroll, service charge distribution, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with tax filing and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare simple financial statements and reports for management.

IT & Automation

  • Maintain and support resort IT systems (accounts software, CRM, AppSheet apps, Wi-Fi access, etc.)
  • Assist in creating automation solutions to improve workflows (Google Sheets, AppScript, Xero, CRM integrations)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues for staff and coordinate with external IT support when needed.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency through digital tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science OR Accounting/Finance (fresh IT grads welcome, Finance grads minimum 1 year of work experience).
  • Strong curiosity to learn across both finance and IT domains.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and digital systems.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting concepts (training will be provided if IT background).
  • Conversational English (written & spoken).
