About the role
PT Kaia Anugerah Indonesia, a vertically integrated seafood company, is seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team across our plants in Indonesia. As a contract (PKWT) position based in Gresik – East Java, this critical role will oversee all engineering activities including regular audits and be hands-on involved in the set-up of new factories.
What you'll be doing
· Ensure the implementation of our proprietary Engineering software in all factories.
· Monitor all work orders and manage all escalated ones for proper conclusion.
· Implement and coordinate implementation of a Preventive Maintenance schedule.
· Lead and manage the engineering team, providing technical direction, guidance and mentorship
· Implement robust engineering processes and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
· Collaborate cross-functionally operations and other teams to align on requirements and priorities
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation
· Manage the engineering budget and resource planning to support the company's growth
What we're looking for
· Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering management, leading high-performing engineering teams
· Strength in both Electrical and Mechanical.
· Experience with engineering civil projects such as renovations.
· Certified in essential Engineering functions.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
· Demonstrated leadership, mentorship and team-building abilities
· S1 in Engineering or a related field
