BAT Indonesia is seeking a Sensory Panel Technician to support product quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare product samples and set up sensory testing sessions based on internal team requests.
  • Coordinate daily with panelists to ensure attendance, readiness, and testing consistency.
  • Conduct sensory sessions and maintain a controlled testing environment aligned with company standards.
  • Track and update panel performance through regular calibration and evaluation.
  • Communicate with R&D, QA, and Product teams to align on testing objectives and requirements.
  • Record and report test results accurately, providing insights for product improvement.
  • Stay updated on new sensory testing methods, tools, and technologies.
  • Align local sensory practices with Global Sensory standards and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret sensory data.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills across functions.
  • High attention to detail and consistency in executing testing procedures.
  • Curious and proactive in learning new sensory methodologies.
  • Resilient, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Passionate about product quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
