BAT Indonesia is seeking a Sensory Panel Technician to support product quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare product samples and set up sensory testing sessions based on internal team requests.
- Coordinate daily with panelists to ensure attendance, readiness, and testing consistency.
- Conduct sensory sessions and maintain a controlled testing environment aligned with company standards.
- Track and update panel performance through regular calibration and evaluation.
- Communicate with R&D, QA, and Product teams to align on testing objectives and requirements.
- Record and report test results accurately, providing insights for product improvement.
- Stay updated on new sensory testing methods, tools, and technologies.
- Align local sensory practices with Global Sensory standards and support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret sensory data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills across functions.
- High attention to detail and consistency in executing testing procedures.
- Curious and proactive in learning new sensory methodologies.
- Resilient, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
