Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Data and AI Pre-Sales Specialist to support our sales team in driving adoption of our data and AI solutions. This role is pivotal in translating complex technical offerings into business value for prospective and existing clients. You will work closely with sales, product, development and customer teams to deliver compelling demos, architecture recommendations, and tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Discovery:
Work directly with customers to understand their business goals, technical needs, and pain points.
- Conduct discovery sessions to uncover requirements in data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities.
Solution Design & Technical Advisory:
Architect tailored solutions leveraging data platforms, AI/ML tools, and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Huawei, AliCloud etc).
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure proposed solutions align with current capabilities.
Presentations & Demos:
Develop and deliver high-impact technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Translate technical concepts into business benefits for non-technical audiences.
Proposal & RFP Support:
Contribute to technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation.
- Work with other teams to create proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and support solution validation for customers.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with sales teams to drive deal strategy and technical win plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on data, analytics, and AI strategy.
Market & Product Insight:
Stay updated on industry trends in data, AI, ML, and cloud technologies.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on customer interactions.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally with a focus on data and AI.
- Strong knowledge of data platforms, ETL tools, and BI tools.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and services.
- Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP and others (Huawei, AliCloud)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle management, and data governance.
- Industry certifications in cloud or data platforms.
- Programming knowledge in Python, SQL, or R but not essential.
