We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who’s passionate about creating intuitive, scalable, and visually engaging interfaces that empower thousands of ECCO users globally.
Job Profile
As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the eCommerce team, you help shape the future of our digital shopping experience. You will play a key role in building performant, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces using Next.js, React, and modern web technologies. This is a high impact role where your work will directly influence customer engagement and conversion across our global online platforms.
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO across all pages and components.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and advocate for best practices.
- Architect reusable components and scalable frontend systems.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and frontend testing strategies.
- Lead the development of new features and enhancements for our eCommerce platform using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
Job Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and Next.js.
- Experience with SSR, SSG, and dynamic routing in Next.js.
- Familiarity with headless CMSs, GraphQL/REST APIs, and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
- Experience with Git, modern CI/CD workflows, and frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Adaptable to diverse business environments and challenges.
- Collaborative team player who fosters knowledge sharing.
- Willing to work in Surabaya
